# Superstables MCP servers

Superstables runs three MCP servers over streamable HTTP. The index and docs servers need no sign-in and only read. The connector signs you in with OAuth.

| Server | URL | Sign-in | Tools |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Index | `https://staging.superstables.com/api/mcp` | None | `find_services`, `get_service`, `get_stats` |
| Docs | `https://staging.superstables.com/api/docs/mcp` | None | `list_docs`, `search_docs`, `read_doc` |
| Connector | `https://mcp.staging.superstables.com` | OAuth for account tools; `find_services` needs no sign-in | Your account, services, budgets and purchases |

## Index server

Search the index of services that advertise stablecoin payments over x402 and MPP. `find_services` filters by free text, category, rail, chain, asset, environment and liveness. `get_service` returns one record with its last 20 liveness probes. `get_stats` returns census counts.

`live=true` means the endpoint answered HTTP 402 or showed a payment challenge at its last unpaid probe. It does not show that a payment works or that the service delivers. The server never executes payments. The advisory limit is 300 requests per minute per client.

To connect a client that takes a URL, use:

```json
{ "url": "https://staging.superstables.com/api/mcp" }
```

The same data is served over HTTP: see the [Index API](https://staging.superstables.com/docs/index-api.md). The [server card](https://staging.superstables.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json) lists the tools before you connect.

## Docs server

`list_docs` returns the pages in reading order, `search_docs` searches them and `read_doc` returns one page as markdown. It reads only the published docs and doesn't query the index: use the index server for that.

## Connector

**Testnet only.** The connector at `https://mcp.staging.superstables.com` lets a chat app find services, read your account and budgets, and request a purchase. Claude Code and Codex use it through the plugin. Each purchase waits for an account member to approve it and sign with their wallet on superstables.com. The chat can request a purchase but can't approve one, and it can't set up, fund or spend a budget: those need a signature on your machine, so use the [CLI](https://staging.superstables.com/docs/cli.md).

Steps for each chat app are in [Connect a chat app](https://staging.superstables.com/docs/chat-apps.md).
