How budgets work
A budget lets an agent spend test USDC from your USDC account on Solana devnet, up to a total cap. The chain enforces that cap; it doesn’t enforce an expiry, a seller list or a per-payment limit.
A budget is an allowance on your test USDC that your wallet grants to an agent’s address. The chain enforces its total cap; it doesn’t enforce an expiry, a seller list or a per-payment limit. On Solana devnet the agent is the delegate of your USDC account. On Tempo Moderato it is the agent’s access key, with a cap in test pathUSD and an expiry, which the chain enforces too.
To change a budget, revoke it and ask the agent for a new one. After a Tempo key is revoked or expires, a new grant needs a new agent key. Revoking does not reverse payments or return transferred funds.
